What is Autogenic Training?

1. Desensitization-relaxation technique, self-reports of people in a hypnotic state have hypnosisphysiological changes that are accompanied by certain feelings.

2. Technique involves repetitions of a set of visualizations that induce a state of relaxation (example, heaviness and warmth of legs and arms), facilitated by self-suggestions
